Villa Raffaella is a charming historic residence in Santa Cesarea Terme. It was built at the end of the 19th century by the engineer Emilio Corti as a summer residence, in an eclectic style with Gothic, Moorish and Romantic details.
The Villa was built for a love story: it was a wedding gift from a husband to Baroness Raffaella, and he had the Latin words “DOMUS TUA HAEC” – This is your home – inscribed in the floor at the entrance.
The words “Ave Maria” mark the entrance to the charming little chapel on the ground floor of the Villa. It is said that by lighting a candle inside and entrusting themselves to the Virgin Mary, whose image hangs there in a fine painting, visitors may be granted the grace of finding true love.
Today Villa Raffaella offers 17 rooms – doubles, triples and quadruples – with panoramic views over the sparkling Adriatic sea, for a relaxing stay devoted to well-being in the heart of Salento.
Villa Raffaella is often chosen by couples for their wedding celebrations, thanks to its romantic character and its beautiful soul.
Look within yourself and look outside, so as not to miss a thing:
just open a window to feel happiness and admire the sky-blue shades of the sea.
